Tuesday, January 13, 2015

Herndon, VA - Paragon Systems, Inc., the U.S. Government security services subsidiary of Securitas Critical Infrastructure Services, Inc. has hired Toney Davis as its Vice President of Training.

Davis has a long history in law enforcement operations and training.  He started his career in military law enforcement and, after several years in state and local law enforcement and corrections, continued his career in training at the Federal Law Enforcement Training Center (FLETC) in Glynco, GA.  In 2003, he moved over to support Federal Protective Service requirements for training law enforcement officers at FLETC and subsequently to training contractor personnel.  In his most recent position, Davis started the first training branch at FLETC directly responsible for contractor Protective Security Officer (PSO) training.

As Chief of the FPS Physical Security and PSO Training Programs, Davis developed and revised curriculum, implemented a national lesson plan for 15,000 Protective Security Officers, and initiated a successful train-the-trainer pilot program under the National Weapons Detection Training Program.  According to Davis: “Moving over to Paragon was a natural and logical extension of my recent work at FLETC.  I’m looking forward to working on the contract side of the equation.”  Paragon has spent many years interacting with Davis, and is particularly impressed by his approach.  According to Les Kaciban, President, Paragon Systems, “Toney understands our world and has developed effective training programs to support it.”
