Setting the Tone for Success with Mobile Guarding

Commercial Building | NAI Brannen Goddard

Challenge: Maintaining a personable demeanor while controlling building access.

The Royal Center is a multi-building campus of Class A office space in Alpharetta, Georgia managed by NAI Brannen.  On duty at three of the buildings comprising 625,000  square feet, Securitas USA officers must adopt a dual role of brand ambassador and crime deterrent. The site’s security challenges include access control, theft prevention, and enhancing tenant safety.

  • Finding staff that fit the Royal Center’s culture of personable professionalism. Officers must possess good judgement and vigilance in providing traditional security duties.
  • On-site security officers are on duty from 7am until 11pm. Securitas USA’s Mobile Guarding takes over for evenings and weekends.  Additional on-site officers are available to cover construction, repairs and unexpected circumstances.
    • Securitas Officers fuse concierge service and safety through personal touches such as holding doors, walking tenants to their cars, and understanding the different cultures and expectations.
    • To help mitigate the risk of workplace violence, Securitas conducts on-site training and safety drills for tenants.

Tenant satisfaction is high, and safety issues have been decreased with Securitas USA on the job. Mobile Guarding provides instant reports if there are any security or maintenance issues. “When I make a change in post orders, [security officers] understand and by the next day those changes are made.” explains on-site manager Peggy Dinsmore. “We have good support through the branch manager and supervisor and I feel they are ready to address any problem.”
