      What does it take to become a security guard at Securitas?

      As a Security Officer, you are expected to be a dependable and safety-minded professional who treats everyone with dignity and respect. We look look for individuals who demonstrate integrity, helpfulness, and vigilance in their daily lives. Being responsible is essential, as our officers are entrusted with protecting people, property, and information.

      Applicants must:

      • Be at least 18 years old.
      • Be able to speak, read, and write in English effectively.
      • Have realiable transportation and communication access.
      • Have a high school diploma or GED. 
      • Be able to perform the essential functions of the job with or without reasonable accomodation. 
      • Meet any applicable state or local security officer licensing requirements.
