We measure our operations through key figures such as emission reductions, energy efficiency and social engagement. Our annual sustainability report provides detailed insight into our performance and future goals.

Securitas actively collaborates with local organizations to promote safety and sustainability. Our initiatives include clean-up events, educational initiatives and volunteer opportunities for our employees.

We are committed to reducing our fleet emissions with telematics and by switching to electric and hybrid vehicles. We installed telematics devices across our primary North America business regions and aim to transition 50% or more of our fleet to hybrid and EV by 2030, which lowers emissions and operational costs, and delivers a more efficient security service to our clients. Our telematics program reduces fuel use, increases driver safety and lowers the risk of accidents through driver safety monitoring, driver coaching and vehicle maintenance alerts and hazard warnings.

Developing and supporting our employees is a central pillar of our sustainability strategy. We offer trainings and development opportunities to equip them with knowledge and skills to succeed in security including in the areas of sustainability, ethics, integrity, and customer service. And, we recently launched a college degree program providing funding for officers in order for them to grow and advance in their career so they can help us contribute to a safer more sustainable world.
