Securitas Security Management Program: The program’s purpose is to provide management with a broad understanding of uniformed security operations.
Level One:
An introduction to security operations and the principles of physical security, the program gives an overview of security assessments, emphasizing critical operational analysis process.
Levels Two and Three:
Review ways that managers can perform more accurate, effective risk assessments. These levels address research analysis and application, tools to measure probability and impact, and the fundamentals of information security.
Level Four:
Explores the convergence of physical security with information technology as frequent and rapid advances in technology are affecting the security industry. This course provides the fundamental concepts of technological solutions used in physical security and how to assess information security risks.
ASIS Professional Certification
ASIS, the security industry professional organization, has board certified designations that serve to professionalize the security industry. Securitas supports and encourages our managers to obtain either their Certified Protection Professional (CPP) or Physical Security Professional (PSP) designations. Securitas continues to sponsor manager certification and has training programs certified by ASIS that support the recertification requirement of this important program.
